Platov Airport Received ISAGO Certificate
The Platov International Airport (member of the Airports of Regions Holding) successfully passed the comprehensive audit by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) for compliance with ISAGO (IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations) requirements and obtained the Certificate of Conformance.
IATA specialists evaluated operation of the management and control system, passenger servicing and luggage processing, goods and mail handling, aircraft center-of-gravity positioning and control of loading, ground servicing of aircraft, ground movement and towing of aircraft for compliance with ISAGO standards.
ISAGO is an audit program for companies dealing with ground servicing of air carriers in airports. ISAGO registration is the IATA program developed under the IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) model, based on a system of unified and globally recognized standards, with evaluation of the operations management system and the control assurance system of the ground services operator performed owing to it.
Just 9 airports in Russia have the ISAGO certificate according to data as at November 1, 2018. Three of them are airports of the Airports of Regions Holding. The Kurumoch Airport (Samara) was the first one to undergo certification in the holding in 2013. Then the Koltsovo Airport (Ekaterinburg) confirmed compliance with IATA standards.
