Passenger Traffic of Airports of Regions MC Above 15 mln in 2018
14.263 million persons took advantage of airports being part of the Airports of Regions Holding (Ekaterinburg, Nizhniy Novgorod, Samara, Rostov-on-Don and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky) according to results of 2018. This is 15% above the like figure of the prior year. Domestic passenger traffic was 10.314 million people (+17%) and international traffic amounted to 3.949 million passengers (+11%).

Passenger traffic on domestic flights totaled 2.304 million people (+22%). The increment of passenger traffic on International destinations was 4%, reaching 782 thousand passengers. The most popular destinations are Moscow, Antalya, St. Petersburg, Sochi and Dubai.
The passenger traffic in Strigino International Airport (Nizhniy Novgorod) was over 1.140 million people in 2018, being 18% above the like figure of 2017. The airport services 838 thousand passengers (+17%) on domestic routes. The passenger traffic of international airlines amounted to 302 thousand people, adding 22%. The most popular are Moscow, Antalya, Sochi, Simferopol and St. Petersburg.
3.236 million passengers used services of Platov International Airport (Rostov-on-Don), which
is 19% higher than the like indicator of 2017. Passenger traffic on domestic lines totaled 2.472 million people (+19%). Traffic on international destinations reached 764 thousand passengers (+20%). The most popular destinations are Moscow, St. Petersburg, Antalya, Tbilisi and Simferopol.
Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky International Airport (Elizovo) serviced over 697 thousand passengers in 2018, which is almost 6% above the like period in the last year. Passenger traffic of the main air harbor of Kamchatka on domestic lines totaled nearly 674.4 thousand people (+5%). Over 22.7 thousand passengers (+44%) took advantage of Elizovo international airlines. The most popular destinations are Moscow, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Novosibirsk, and Tilichiki.
The Novy Urengoy Airport serviced 973 thousand passengers in 2018, up 1% against 2017. The most popular destinations are Moscow, Tyumen, Ufa, and Sabetta.
