CHECK-IN DESK MOUNTING HAS BEGUN AT PLATOV AIRPORT

At the airport complex the check-in and passenger baggage desk mounting has begun. In total, 33 desks will be mounted in the common area of the passenger terminal, one of which is designed for the checking in of oversized baggage.

“A distinctive feature of the servicing in the new terminal of Platov Airport will be the registration of economy and business class passengers and their baggage to domestic and international destinations in a single sector,” said Executive Director of Rostovaeroinvest PAO Sergey Krasnov. “We will also add that all the check-in desks are suitable in height for servicing of passengers traveling in wheelchairs, which will make communication between the limited mobility passengers and check-in agent simple and pleasant”.

Technological desks, which will be twice more in Platov than in the functioning airport, are produced by Moscow company Samkor. They are made in accordance with individual design from wear-resistant, environmentally safe and hygienic materials, which is especially important in such public space as the airport, because thousands of people, including children, come to the desks every day.
