NEW FUEL FILLING COMPLEX PUT IN OPERATION BY GAZPROMNEFT IN Ekaterinburg KOLTSOVO AIRPORT

Gazpromneft-Aero, an operator of Gazpromneft jet fuel business, put a new fuel filling complex in operation at  Koltsovo International Airport in Ekaterinburg. The enterprise received all licenses and other approval documentation required for the operating activity performance in Koltsovo and started aircraft filling up. The total volume of investments directed at the modern fuel filling complex construction project implementation amounted to more than RUB 830 mln.

Fuel filling complex technological equipment is dully automated and complies with requirements of Russian and international standards. Oil store includes three tanks with a total capacity of 9 thos.m3.  For fuel shipment, a railway ramp for 6 tank-cars was built on the fuel filling complex territory. The quality control of oil products is ensured by the in-house laboratory. Jet fuel will be delivered to the fuel filling complex from Gazpromneft Omsk refinery, thus allowing to provide partner airlines with flexible pricing terms and guarantee fuel volumes necessary. Ural Airlines, Gazpromavia, Red Wings, I Fly, RusLine became first Gazpromneft-Aero customers in Koltsovo.

 

Upon fuel filling complex construction, special attention was given to industrial and environmental safety systems. There are a complex for the automatic control of pre-explosive concentrations of fire gas air mixtures and fumes, a set of carriage hoses, fire water storage tanks installed at the facility. An industrial wastewater collection and purification system is also implemented at the Gazpromneft-Aero enterprise in Koltsovo, as allows removing mechanical impurities and oil products in accordance with standards specified in state requirements to the environmental safety.
