JETWAYS ARRIVED IN ROSTOV-ON-DON FOR PLATOV AIRPORT

All of nine ThyssenKrupp jetways for Platov Airport complex passenger terminal have arrived to the construction site.   All together, 21 trucks were needed for the equipment delivery. Jetways’ static part assemblage has already started.

4 jetways will be designed for each boarding/unloading passenger of domestic and international flights, while the central jetway may be used for both domestic Russian and international flights, depending on spike loads. Furthermore, extreme passage bridges on both terminal sides will each have 2 jetways assembled for servicing wide-body aircraft types, such as Airbus A330-А380 or Boeing 777-787.

ThyssenKrupp jetways have proved effective throughout the world.  German concern equipment is operated successfully in San Francisco, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Madrid, Dubai and Hong Kong airports. At length, Rostov Airport remained one of few million-strong airports in Russia not equipped with jetways.   But yet in December 2017,  new Platov airport complex passengers will be able to sense all of their advantages.
